HYDROCARBON RESIN HCR-105

The present specification is valid for polymeric petroleum resin HCR-105, which is produced as a result of thermal polymerization of aromatic hydrocarbon fraction C9.

Petroleum polymer resin HCR-105 is used:

• in metallurgy as a component for production of high quality foundry molding mixtures with high content of luster carbons, which make it possible to receive castings with high surface smoothness, low surface stress and flaw formation, good separability of casting from foundry molding mixtures.
• in road construction as an effective substitute for solid bitumen GILSONIT and adhesive admix for paving bitumen’s (for road asphalt mixtures) as well as modification of low-viscosity paving bitumen’s
• in production of concretes to improve freeze resistance, plastic properties, reduce fissure formation and hygroscopicity
• in production of varnish-and-paint product to improve adhesion, film formation, freeze resistance, heat stability, electrical protection against sneak current
• in production of waterproofing materials to improve heat stability, freeze resistance, plastic properties and adhesion of sticking surface.
