The ecological policy of the company

The prior tasks of  Novotrade Invest AS are to ensure safe working conditions for its employees, health protection of the personnel and the population living in the neighboring areas of the company and to preserve a favourable environment.

In order to efficiently solve the environmental protection and the quality management issues, Novotrade Invest AS has introduced an Integrated Enterprise Management System which is successfully functioning. Within the limits of the system the ecological policy of the enterprise has been developed [PDF 1, PDF 2] where the wide range ecological management activities have been set.

Considering that the production specifics make Novotrade Invest AS to the source of air pollution, the management of the company proclaims that the primary intent of  Novotrade Invest AS, in of environmental protection, is the step-by-step reduction of negative influence of the production activity, considering the technical and financial possibilities.

In order to achieve the stated objectives in the area of environmental protection we are intending to meet the following challenges:

-to explain the environmental protection policy of Novotrade Invest AS and ensure its implementation through the workers’ awareness at any position on the enterprise.

 - to keep track on changes in the legislation and to solicit for the necessary work permits for the enterprise in the area of environmental protection according to the statutory requirements of the Republic of Estonia.

- to continuously work on improvement of the Environmental Management System, by determining and taking into consideration the environmental aspect of the enterprise`s activities.

- to implement state-of-the-art technologies, equipment and materials that have a less harmful influence on the environment (step-by-step implementing the best possible techniques).

- to appraise the influence of the enterprise`s activities on the environment.

- to inform and maintain an open dialogue between all interested parties regarding the nature conservation activities of Novotrade Invest AS.

The aims and tasks of the ecological policy are being reviewed and if necessary, completed not less than once a year.
